My Gym Yardley is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and highly organized Assistant Director to help lead daily operations and ensure an exceptional experience for children and families. The ideal candidate has My Gym experience, a background in working with children, and training or experience in early childhood education or daycare environments. This role requires strong leadership skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage staff, classes, and customer interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm.

The Assistant Director will oversee daily activities, support staff performance, maintain program quality, and report directly to the Owner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Management — Oversee class flow, scheduling, cleanliness, safety, and customer experience throughout the day.
  • Team Leadership — Lead, coach, and support instructors; ensure staff follow My Gym curriculum, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
  • Program Quality Oversight — Maintain consistency in class delivery, energy, and engagement; ensure all activities meet My Gym standards.
  • Parent & Child Engagement — Build strong relationships with families, address concerns, and create a welcoming environment.
  • Training & Onboarding — Assist in training new instructors and maintaining ongoing staff development.
  • Administrative Support — Help with scheduling, communication, inventory, birthday party coordination, and special events.
  • Safety & Cleanliness Oversight — Ensure the gym remains clean, safe, and compliant with My Gym and childcare standards.
  • Event Leadership — Support or lead camps, parties, seasonal events, and promotional activities.
Required Qualifications

  • My Gym experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 10 years
  • Background in early childhood education, child development, daycare, or similar fields
  • Proven team lead or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain a high‑energy, positive environment
  • Comfortable performing physical activity, demonstrating skills, and engaging with children
  • Must be available for a 35‑hour full‑time schedule, including some weekends or evenings as needed

My Gym Yardley is a fun, high‑energy children’s fitness center offering classes, parties, camps, and events designed to support physical, cognitive, and social development. Our team is passionate about creating joyful experiences for families and helping children grow through movement, play, and confidence‑building activities.
Compensation: $22.00 per hour
