Children's Activity Instructor (Full-Time)

My Gym White Rock is building its founding team, and we're looking for outgoing, dependable people who love helping kids grow, enjoy being active, and can bring a room to life.
Backgrounds in dance, theater, sports, education, hospitality, or customer service are welcome. No gymnastics or teaching experience required. We provide paid training and an easy-to-follow curriculum. You bring the energy, warmth, and willingness to learn!
What You'll Do:
Teach, Play & Inspire
Teaching is the heart of this job. Alongside other instructors, you'll lead engaging classes for children ages 3 months to 10 years, including:
- Songs, games, dance, obstacle courses, and imaginative play
- Introductory gymnastics, tumbling, balance, and coordination activities
- Confidence-building activities and birthday parties
- Keeping our gym clean, organized, and safe
Connect With Families & Help Us Grow
Every instructor helps families feel welcome and discover the right program. You'll:
- Greet trial families, explain memberships, and invite them to enroll
- Follow up with trial families and prospective members by phone, text, or email
- Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and help families find classes
- Participate in farmers markets, festivals, preschool visits, and free community classes
Teaching comes first. We play to our team's strengths, so some instructors spend more time teaching while others take on more family outreach. Sales experience isn't required; we'll train you. We value genuine relationships, not pushy sales tactics.
What We're Looking For
- Enthusiasm, humor, patience, and a genuine love of children
- Confidence leading groups and connecting with parents
- Comfort speaking with prospective families and making follow-up calls
- Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn
- Ability to perform an active job involving standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Experience in gymnastics, dance, theater, cheerleading, camps, sports, or childcare is a plus, not a requirement.
Schedule & Benefits

Weekend availability required; Monday afternoon team meetings required
