My Gym was born out of our passion to teach children in a fun, physically engaging environment. We love seeing children's eyes light up for all those incredible milestones, from the tentative first steps to tumbling down soft mats. Sharing the parents’ excitement at their children’s accomplishments was the high point of our day.
We knew from the start that, through fun and captivating activities, we could accomplish great things. Our goal: To create an environment where children feel loved and supported so their self-esteem and confidence can flourish. Now, more than 35 years later, we’re proud to say that all children of all abilities can succeed and thrive at My Gym.

My Gym is an amazing place because it allows you to work with children in a fun environment AND also be involved in the high-level processes of running a small business. Our core product is our amazing classes and parties; so, of course, your training begins within these areas.
As a lead teacher, you will be working hands-on, teaching “Mommy and Me” classes for babies/toddlers and their parents as well as physical education classes for preschool and grade school kids.
As you become a proficient lead teacher, you’ll begin learning:
- Administration
- Sales
- Training, etc.
This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where like-minded individuals will thrive and advance!
- Salary is competitive, with the ability to progress quickly.
- Education or backgrounds in sports, physical fitness, early childhood education, gymnastics, dance, etc. are taken into consideration when determining salary.
All candidates must be available to work some weekend hours and every Monday afternoon from 1:00-4:00 for our weekly staff meeting.

My Gym Children’s Fitness Center is a lot more than just “Mommy and Me!" From first steps to first handstands, we are committed to creating wonderful Moments That Matter. Our gyms are safe, colorful, and oh-so-clean spaces, and our staff pride themselves on providing a fun, safe, and meaningful experience to each and every family who enters through our doors.
Every day in more than 700 locations worldwide, My Gym kids attend structured, noncompetitive and age-appropriate classes and birthday parties taught by incredibly talented, fun, and happy grown-ups. Our curriculum grows with children and features a wide variety of activities designed to promote coordination, agility, flexibility, motor skills, and social skills. Whether it’s a toddler in a parent-participation class wiggling through a warm-up, or a school-aged Ninja kid conquering our Warped Wall, the FUN never stops!
